Thanks for bearing with me whilst I relocated to Australia! Absolutely loving it here – Sydney is such a creative & vibrant city with a real buzz. Loving my new role here and learning a lot. To kick this blog off again, I want to share a picture I took at the TedX Sydney event at the weekend – I have always wanted to go to a Ted event but missed the application deadline – it didn’t matter as I got to spend a couple of hours in the ‘foyer’ listening to some artists, watching some of the talks and asking some questions.  Next year I will be there

Things have been a bit quiet round here because I am in the process of moving down under with my job. Whilst I am drowning in boxes I won’t have time to blog but hopefully will be up and running soon after I touch down in Sydney at the beginning of April.

I am very excited to be going on a new adventure and working properly outside of Europe for the first time in my life. I will continue working for P&G and will be responsible for our Max Factor and Covergirl brands in Australia, New Zealand, Philippines and South Africa….ahhh very exciting.

So I hope you stick around till April and I will see you on the other side! In  the meantime…

About a month ago, my boyfriend and I set up a new blog together – www.hecooksshetalks.com – and I cannot believe how well it is going! It gets about 4x the number of visits as here – must be his popularity!

Its a food and lifestyle blog – a little less serious that this one but go check it out!

Recently there have been alot of news stories and blog posts on the proliferation of vending machines… no longer are you limited to food and drink – you can get clothes, make up and even gold in Abu Dhabi.

But I was surprised when I drove past this in France last weekend:

A milk vending machine! You can now fill up whenever you need to with local milk – you can also choose to bring your own container or rent one from the machine! We didn’t have any euros to try it out but we’ll be back!

Incase there are any people reading this blog, I thought I’d  show you why it has been quiet recently!

I have been busying myself (outside of my normal job) with raising money for this years Children in Need campaign and for 2 charities in Geneva. Our philosophy is to have fun whilst raising money and we closed the fundraising year on Friday raising 33,000 CHF, that’s 32,400 USD or £19,650 for the charities.
