I love love love this initiative…. after spending 2 years working on Lacoste Fragrances I have grown quite a big soft spot for the croc…combine this with cause marketing and its a winner in my book!

Lacoste, whose iconic crocodile logo has adorned tennis shirts for over 75 years, have joined the French-based Save Your Logo initiative backed by the Global Environmental Facility (GEF), the World Bank, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature to support the biodiversity of the plants and animals represented on logos across the world.
The brand will actively support projects selected by the program to “safeguard or protect endangered crocodile, alligator, caiman or gavial species, whose loss would jeopardize the biological balance of their natural habitats.”

Apparently, Val D’Isere (Eagle) and Maaf Insurance (Whale) are signed up… but I hopefully these guys will also sign up soon!
